Leslie W. Johnson, PhD, CCC-SLP

I am a mom, wife, educator and clinician with a heart to serve others in my community. I have been working in the Speech Language Pathology field for greater than a decade and have spent the majority of that time working with people with neurogenic difficulties related to communication and swallow disorders. I completed my doctoral work concentrating in Traumatic Brain Injury. I very much so enjoy working at UNC Hospitals and have spent much of my clinical career here. When I'm not keeping up with three young boys or working in my garden, I have the pleasure of teaching masters students studying to become SLPs at several area universities and also serve on the Brain Injury Association of North Carolina's Board of Directors.
