I have always had a passion for empowering others through behavioral health therapy and psychoeducation. The integrated care model of UNC Physicians Network allows me to provide holistic care through a team approach that increases positive patient outcomes. The expert on the patient is always the patient; they know their needs and strengths. In order to be an effective provider, collaboration with the patient is key. My areas of clinical interest include young adults (specifically young adults going through the transitional phases such as going to college, becoming more independent, etc.) and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Outside of work, I enjoy nature walks, playing with my dog and two cats, and traveling.
