I believe that we are all created for a purpose and that caring for patients in an under served part of North Carolina is a calling. A famous teacher once said, From those to whom much has been given, much will be expected. Since I have been blessed with the opportunity for a wonderful education and specialty training, it is an honor to serve my patients here in Robeson County. I believe providers should remind themselves daily that all aspects of medical care must be patient-centered. Also, medical decisions should be evidence-based and consistent with current standards of care. Outside of work, I enjoy travel with family, playing tennis with my teenage kids, boating with my family, running and fishing.
