Aaron Leininger, MD

I have always enjoyed science and technology, but rather than work in a traditional science, technology or engineering field, I wanted a career that allowed me to work one-on-one with people positively and collaboratively. Medicine was the best match for me to achieve this goal, and primary care sports medicine was the perfect specialty for me. I absolutely love my career choice and feel privileged to work in the medical field. Outside of work, I love to spend time with my wife and two children doing physical activities. I play on a coed soccer team with my wife, and together we have organized charity 5Ks, such as the Bella Rose Strides for Babies and the WannaWearOne 5K. I provide volunteer medical coverage for several local sporting events, including West Johnston High School football games. I am a former collegiate soccer player who enjoys kayaking, running, cycling, participating in triathlons, and coaching and playing recreational soccer.
