I became a dietitian because I'm fascinated by the role nutrition plays in the prevention and management of diabetes. Having a family history of diabetes, I watched my loved ones struggle with the disease and wanted to do something to help them and others. Im passionate about helping clients improve their lives with meaningful behavior changes to prevent or manage chronic health conditions like diabetes, obesity, kidney disease, hypertension and high cholesterol. My patient care approach is to meet the individual where they are and help them achieve their personal wellness goals. When not working, I enjoy being active outdoors, cooking, trying new restaurants, and spending time with my husband and two dogs.
