Katherine Trahan, MD

I am a Virginia native and moved to Raleigh to join North Carolina Surgery in the fall of 2019. My interests include all aspects of general and acute care surgery, and I have experience as a trauma surgeon. I perform laparoscopic, robotic and open surgery and have performed bariatric surgery as well. I am a mother to five girls and love being with my husband in the outdoors and teaching wilderness medicine. In my spare time, I can be found running with my boxer, in the gym, or at outside events, music festivals or hiking.
