I chose nursing due to an interest in biological and social science and could never have imagined the career opportunities nursing would provide. I have experience in primary care, critical care and specialty practice. As a nurse practitioner, I treat diseases that afflict my patients and address the human response to illness. I feel fortunate to work in a setting that seeks the best evidence, tempers it with clinical experience and considers patient preferences when developing plans of care.
