Alethea Yvette Rucker, MD

Since the age of 12, I knew I wanted a career where I could serve people of the community, be a role model/leader in society and make a difference in peoples lives. Health care allows me to do so; specifically family medicine because this is the field of medicine that exhibits my personality the best. My approach to patient care is to treat everyone as an individual; no one patient is identical to another. Treat every patient like they are your own family member; with patience, compassion and empathy. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, traveling, exercising and spending time with my family.
