Anita Mary Skariah, DO

I became a physician to combine my love for continuous learning, interests in the sciences, and my desire to help people understand and manage their health. It's been a wonderful opportunity to learn with and from my patients, as well. We are all learning together. My job is to learn and synthesize the data/research available regarding medical conditions and share that information with my patient in a practical manner so we can make informed decisions together. I believe that being proactive with preventive screenings is very important. I also believe that there is a connection between the mind, body and soul of an individual and that they are interdependent. Health is only optimized when all are functioning well together. When I am not working, I like to read, hike, travel and spend time with family.
