I was drawn to medicine because it allowed me to combine my interest in science with my desire to improve health, and by extension, the lives of others. My philosophy of care is that the use of evidence-based medicine and proactive education allows for the best relationship between physician, patient and family. Outside of work, I enjoy running, reading, watching baseball and spending time with my husband and our three children.
