Bennie Jarvis, MD, FACS

I wanted to work in health care since we played the Operation game at age 5. I decided I wanted to become a doctor at age 12, an unusual choice for a woman at the time. Working one-on-one with patients and their families to figure out how best to meet their health care needs has always been my passion. I chose Otolaryngology (ENT) because we treat a wide range of issues in both children and adults. With new innovations in sinus treatment, its an exciting time to be an ENT doctor. I strive to listen closely to each patient and parent, paying attention to their individual needs. I believe that every patient needs an explanation in plain language of test results, diagnosis and treatment, not just a prescription. With teamwork between doctor, patient and staff, we can work toward achieving your best health. Outside of work, I enjoy CrossFit when not spending time with my kids in the fall as a marching band mom.
