Nailah Adams, MD, MS

I chose to become a doctor to blend my passion for healthcare and education for the well-being of my community. I seek to promote healthy lifestyles through the ages. I believe in motivating patients to self-empowerment and helping them to see their health as a priority. Patients know their bodies better than anyone else, so I approach their care with a listening and compassionate ear, lending my medical expertise in a manner that is sensitive and non-judgmental. I see myself as their healthcare teammate. Outside of work, I love to visit Carnival celebrations around the world, but none can compare to that of my homeland of Trinidad and Tobago. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends, weightlifting at the gym, and training to run half-marathons a little less slowly every time.
