Jennifer Hood Waters, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

I have explored many avenues during my career. Nursing is a calling--it is part of whom I am, serving others and truly compassionate about their health and wellbeing. I chose to expand my knowledge as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) because I wanted to have a more definitive role in the treatment regimens for patients. I have served the uninsured population of Wayne County providing general medicine for two and a half years. Now I am able to pursue my passion in women's health and am excited about this journey. My calling is to help serve others. I enjoy getting to know my patients and formulating a treatment plan that will be the most beneficial for them with a specific focus on education so that patients can feel empowered over their health. I am passionate about making a difference in one patient's life at a time and giving back to the community. My special interests involve obstetrics and gynecology and pediatrics. I am married with three children. I enjoy activities with my children and my family sports, running and helping with the youth at church. I was raised on a farm and I love the country.
