I knew at a very young age that my calling in life would be to work in medicine. Ive always been fascinated at how the human body works. Being a PA allows me to join two of my passions: practicing medicine and providing care to those in need. I fell in love with orthopedics while working in the field prior to becoming a PA. Its special to see a patient return to activities they once could do with the help of orthopedic care and intervention. I strongly believe that motion is medicine. Staying active is such an essential part of staying healthy. I enjoy getting to know my patients and working together to develop a treatment plan that fits their lifestyle and their orthopedic ailment. I am committed to exhausting all nonsurgical options at our disposal prior to having the conversation about surgical intervention. When the time comes to consider surgery I also feel that amazing outcomes can be achieved through innovative and specialized surgical procedures. I strongly believe that motion is medicine. Staying active is such an essential part of staying healthy. When Im outside of the office or the hospital I enjoy playing golf, kayaking the estuaries of NC, hiking nature trails and working in the yard.
