I became a doctor because the occupation best combined my love of science and my desire to help people. My philosophy of care is to use the best available evidence-based medicine while focusing on the individual, making all aspects of their lives healthier in order to prevent disease and its complications. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, hiking, and travel.
