We don’t just deliver babies at our birthing center. We deliver personalized care before, during and after pregnancy. From prenatal, pregnancy and birthing care to childbirth classes and breastfeeding support, we provide healthcare close to home.

Our OB-GYN providers are here to support you and your baby. No pregnancy is the same. With 24/7 OB and anesthesia coverage, our hospital maternity care team is responsive to your labor and delivery needs. We provide family-centered birth suites with home-like comforts, including whirlpool tubs for labor. Working together, we help deliver a memorable birth experience.

Aspirus Rhinelander Hospitals' Birthing Center offers high-risk pregnancy care. We have various birthing options, including natural birth without epidural. There is 3D ultrasound, fetal monitoring and lab services on-site. OB phone nurses are available by phone to answer your questions throughout your pregnancy.

For babies born premature (after 34 works), we have a special care nursery available and access to Aspirus Wausau Hospital's Level III NICU along with specialty pediatric care.
Wireless monitoring is an option to maximize mobility and comfort during labor. There are certified lactation consultants and car seat fittings available to you after birth.
