Elise Rogers, MD

Elise Rogers, MD is an obstetrician and gynecologist at Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital who cares for women from adolescence through menopause and beyond. She has a special interest in minimally invasive and robotic gynecologic surgery, hysteroscopic surgery and high-risk obstetrics. A Louisiana native, Dr. Rogers graduated from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences. She earned both her medical degree and subsequently completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Louisiana State University in Shreveport. Rogers™ passion for the medical field and helping others originates from roots that were sown in the medical field at an early age. My father is a surgeon so medicine has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember, said Rogers. I frequently worked in the hospital when I was younger and have always been drawn to tangible ways to help others. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and American Medical Women™s Association. Dr. Rogers is married to a native Houstonian and they are excited to be living in Texas near extended family to raise their son. When not working, Dr. Rogers enjoys spending time with her family, playing with their dogs, running, camping and scuba diving. One of Dr. Rogers™ most impactful philanthropic experiences was a mission trip to Kenya aimed at providing medical care to remote African villages.
