He then completed a fellowship at Chicago Foot and Ankle Deformity Correction Center in Chicago, Illinois, before finishing his training with a residency at Florida Hospital East Orlando in Orlando, Florida. He became Chief Resident there and received extensive training in congenital conditions, flatfoot, pediatric clubfoot, and arthroscopic surgery, among other topics.
