Our doctors have elite-level athletic backgrounds that allow us to better relate to you and your desire to excel. iFitPodiatry's primary mission is to keep you performing at the top of your game, utilizing the latest technology to diagnose, treat and ensure a fast, safe and healthy recovery.

Dr. Costello, a native of Grundy Center, Iowa, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from Iowa State University followed by additional post-baccalaureate coursework in Pre-Medicine at Wartburg College.

Dr. Costello attended A.T. Still University and received a Masters in Health Care Administration and Masters in Public Health before earning his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa. He performed his residency training at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Dr. Costello is a strong advocate of living a healthy lifestyle and has competed in bodybuilding, national strongman competitions and the Scottish Highland Games. He has been the winner of the Mr. Iowa Bodybuilding Championship. He is an Eagle Scout and continues to be involved in scouting with his son. He enjoys lifting weights, being outdoors and spending time with his family.
