Dr. Riegel earned a chemistry degree, with honors, at Southern Methodist University, in Dallas, Texas. He completed medical school at The University of Texas Medical School in San Antonio, Texas, and went on to complete postgraduate training at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and Parkland Memorial Hospital, both in Dallas.
During his training, he advanced his knowledge of obstetrics, gynecology, reproductive endocrinology, and infertility, with a special focus on hormones.
Dr. Riegel launched his private practice as an OB/GYN in 1993. He's a highly respected OB/GYN specialist and is one of the foremost da Vinci® robotic surgeons in the country, in addition to being one of America's highest-rated hormone specialists.
Dr. Riegel focused on hormone treatments starting early in his career. After years of extensive research and documentation, Dr. Riegel observed that many common diseases, including osteoporosis, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, Type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and hypertension, may happen because of hormone depletion.  
Dr. Riegel wants only the very best for his patients, so he wasn't happy with the pharmaceutical hormone options that were available previously. He created exclusive bioidentical hormone formulas to help patients in their 30s, 40s, 50s, and beyond feel like they're in their 20s again.
