Charles Q. Ma, M.D.

Charles Ma, M.D., is a cardiothoracic surgeon at Baptist Health’s Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute. Dr. Ma specializes in cardiac surgery.

Dr. Ma joined Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute from New York University, where he completed a cardiothoracic surgery fellowship and served as a clinical instructor in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at NYU Grossman School of Medicine.
His research has been published in the Journal of Surgical Research, the British Journal of Dermatology and JTCVS Techniques.

Dr. Ma’s approach to care is to get to know his patients and learn their values so that together they can create a treatment plan that works best for them.

When he is not treating patients, Dr. Ma enjoys traveling, watching movies, exercising and trying new restaurants.
