Michelle M Issac, MD

Michelle Issac, M.D., is a palliative care physician at Miami Cancer Institute. Dr. Issac treats patients of all ages who have serious illnesses, including conditions that are curable, chronic or life-limiting. She works with patients to improve their quality of life and reduce their pain levels..

Dr. Issac joined Miami Cancer Institute after completing a hospice and palliative care medicine fellowship at New York University School of Medicine in New York City.

Dr. Issac’s goal when working with patients is to build a relationship and ensure their voices are heard. She focuses on understanding their desires and wishes and does everything possible to fulfill their goals.

She is a member of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine and the Center to Advance Palliative Care.

When she is not treating patients, Dr. Issac enjoys traveling, hiking, biking and trying new foods.
