Hiren Patel, MD

Dr. Hiren Patel attended Medical School at B.J. Medical College in Ahmedabad, India. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Stony Brook University Hospital in Stony Brook, New York where he also worked at Northport Veteran’s Affairs. He was Primary Care Chief Resident at Northport VA Medical Centre following his residency and continued with a Rheumatology fellowship at Stony Brook University Hospital. After his fellowship he was a Rheumatology Physician at the Arthritis and Osteoporosis treatment center in Florida and continued his career thereafter as a Rheumatology Physician in Indiana.

Patel is certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), ABIM in Rheumatology, and holds a professional membership with the American College of Rheumatology.

Patel joined Oaklawn in 2021.
