Rafael Avakyan, MD

Rafael Avakyan, MD, is board certified in internal medicine. He earned his medical degree from Yerevan State Medical University in Armenia. Dr. Avakyan completed his internship at Flushing Hospital Medical Center and his residency at North Shore University Hospital, both in New York. He is experienced in drug and alcohol detoxification. Dr. Avakyan is described as a great listener who always gives priority to his patients' needs. He enjoys classical music, poetry, and traveling. In addition to English, he speaks fluent Russian and Armenian.
