Aleen Avakian, MD

Aleen Avakian, MD, is board certified in family medicine. Dr. Avakian earned her medical degree from the University of Baghdad College of Medicine in Iraq. She completed her residency at Beaumont Hospital in Michigan. Dr. Avakian became a physician because of her motivation to help people achieve the best health possible. Her patients say that she is a compassionate physician who always takes the time to answer their questions and addresses their concerns. She recommends that her patients eat healthy, exercise regularly, socialize often, and reduce stress. In her spare time, Dr. Avakian enjoys spending time with her family and friends. In addition to English, she speaks fluent Armenian and Arabic.
