At Cary Smiles Dr. Rahee Shah and his team provide comprehensive and compassionate oral health care to people of all ages living in and around Cary, North Carolina, and throughout Wake County. Dr. Shah’s goal is to offer his patients the best dental care through the newest technologies and expand the breadth of services so they are all cared for, confident, healthy and happy! 

Dr. Shah’s credentials are impressive and speak to his commitment to providing top-notch dental care. He is a native of New Jersey and always wanted to be a dentist. He earned his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University in New Jersey and went on to receive his graduate degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. After completing his general practice residency at Robert Wood Johnson hospital in New Brunswick, NJ, he furthered his skill set with a 2 year implant course at NYU in New York City. He then continued to work in New Jersey as a general dentist providing family and cosmetic dentistry, including endodontics and implants for 6 years before moving down to North Carolina.

At Cary Smiles, Dr. Shah and the team provide a variety of preventive and general oral health services, including treatment of sleep apnea, endodontics, implants and orthodontic treatment with Invisalign®.

Patients can also access restorative dentistry, such as crowns and same-day restorations, as well as cosmetic dentistry, including teeth whitening, veneers, and dental bonding.  

Dr. Shah and his wife, a physician, recently relocated to our beautiful area to be closer to their family in Cary. They are very excited to be an integral part of the office and community. Being a part of respected professional groups like the American Dental Association, NC Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Shah continues to uphold his dedication to providing excellent dental care. Through his caring and cautious methodology, he actively aims to establish significant bonds with his patients and guarantee their ease throughout their dental experience.

 

 

Dr. Jeffrey B. LaMura

Dr. LaMura was born and raised near Worcester, Massachusetts, and earned his undergraduate degree at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. He subsequently enrolled at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery.

Following graduation, Dr. LaMura served at various private practices in New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Connecticut before relocating to North Carolina in 2013.

Throughout his career, Dr. LaMura has enhanced his professional skills and knowledge. Every year, he dedicates an average of 25 hours to continuing education and is active in the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Society.
