Christopher Durant, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and the founder of C D Orthopedics, PC in Brentwood, New York. Dr. Durant offers dedicated care in orthopedic surgery that is unrivaled in its quality and comprehensive scope. Backed by years of knowledgeable experience and superior education, Dr. Durant extends his expertise to help those suffering from joint maladies and injuries.
Dr. Durant is exceptionally qualified in the field of orthopedic surgery and is skilled in performing many procedures, including shoulder arthroscopy and knee arthroscopy, and treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions and injuries. It is his keen focus and compassionate care that allows him and his staff to offer unparalleled health care services to all patients.
Dr. Durant obtained his medical school degree in Spain from the Faculty of Medicine University of Granada and is fluent in both English and Spanish. Following his passion for orthopedic surgery, Dr. Durant completed his postgraduate training at Harlem Hospital Center in affiliation with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University in New York City and at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Durant is a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
Dr. Durant is affiliated with and performs surgery at various hospitals in New York, including Plainview Hospital Northwell Health, Syosset Hospital Northwell Health, and New York Surgery Center Queens.
