It is her goal to make this often taboo subject palatable and accessible for everyone. She is an Our Whole Lives (OWL) trained facilitator: an acclaimed curriculum that addresses sexuality through a series of different age groups. The OWL curriculum takes a holistic approach to sex education, not only by providing facts about anatomy and development, but by helping others make informed decisions, clarify their values, and understand the societal aspects of sexuality. Classes and workshops taught by Ms. Ashley are non-binary, sex-positive, body-affirming, inclusive, and are based on the principle that people can make informed choices for their bodies based on their own values given science-based information.
