Mary Yap

Mary Yap, DNP, APN, NP-C is a member of Summit Health's Internal Medicine team. Dr. Yap holds a doctoral-level degree (DNP), the highest level of educational training in nursing. With Summit Health, Dr. Yap serves as a nurse practitioner who specializes in primary care for adults. She practices evidence-based medicine that is customized to each individual applying a gentle nurse’s touch.

Prior to joining Summit Health, Dr. Yap was a primary care provider for several years in Denville, NJ. Leading up to her career in primary care, she worked as a registered nurse in various hospital settings.

Dr. Yap loves to spend time with her family and stay connected with friends.  She is a self-proclaimed “foodie” and loves to eat different types of cuisines. She also enjoys staying physically active, bird watching, meditative hiking, and reading non-fiction.
