David is the founder and President of TowneBank Commercial Mortgage. He joined TowneBank in 2001 and has more than three decades of mortgage banking and brokerage experience. David is primarily responsible for financing all asset classes of income property real estate and providing access to capital markets for non-recourse financing. Under David's leadership, over $1.5 billion in commercial income property mortgages have been funded through numerous capital market sources.
David has a BA in Economics from Georgetown University and an MBA from the University of Virginia's Darden Graduate School of Business. He is also a licensed real estate agent.
Active in his community, David serves as Vice Chair for the City of Norfolk Convention and Visitors Bureau. A former Naval Officer, he is also an active fund-raiser for both the Darden and Georgetown University alumni associations.
