Common questions haunt the minds of new moms: Am I really cut out for this? Why do I feel so alone? Many concerns that moms have are brushed off as being "normal" in the postpartum period. But in my book, “Reclaiming Motherhood”, just because something is common doesn't mean it has to be your new normal. My name is Dr. Logan Spacek, Postpartum Coach and Doctor of Physical Therapy, and I'm here to offer you support. I felt called to write my book and prevent postpartum anxiety and postpartum depression after struggling with so many issues during my own postpartum periods. I am a wife and mother of two children who's been through it all: the anxiety, the despair, the doubts, and the heavy burden of the "shoulds" of motherhood. You are not alone. I started Reclaim to empower moms through education and coaching to THRIVE physically, mentally, and emotionally post-birth. Reclaim is based in Dallas-Fort Worth, Tx - providing holistic wellness education and healing through group programs or one on one sessions. We focus on the prevention of and recovery from postpartum anxiety and postpartum depression. I have done training through Postpartum Support International, Institute of Birth Healing, and Herman & Wallace.
