Meet Dr. Wu
Chaowen Wu, MD, PhD, is a plastic surgeon at Revel You in The Woodlands, Texas. Her love and obsession with chasing perfection led her to the artful and scientific pursuit of plastic surgery the natural way through minimally invasive aesthetic plastic surgery procedures. Giving the “gift of Wu” means Dr. Wu can share her passion for creating beautifully empowering and natural-looking results inspired by patients’ own bodies.
Dr. Wu’s name was carefully chosen by her grandfather, and means “to surpass.” With her name as her guiding principle, Dr. Wu has never stopped striving to be better. She earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She graduated from the competitive dual-degree MD-PhD program at Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed a rigorous six-year integrated plastic surgery residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin, after which Dr. Wu completed an additional year of fellowship training to perfect her skills in aesthetic plastic surgery.
The overriding theme of Dr. Wu’s practice is the natural approach. At Revel You, she offers a variety of services, including facial rejuvenation, breast augmentation, breast lift, breast reduction, butt lift, tummy tuck, and arm lift.
Immediately after moving to Houston, Texas for her fellowship, Dr. Wu fell in love with the food and weather, which reminded her of her childhood home in Canton, China. Texas’ beautiful countryside has also reignited Dr. Wu’s childhood aspirations and lifelong dream of owning a farm and caring for her own horses. She now calls Houston home and is thrilled to be serving its incredible community.
