Cynthia Trop, M.D.

About The Practice
Cynthia S. Trop, MD, is a board-certified urologist and urologic surgeon practicing at her office in the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Dr. Trop received her bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Stanford University, Palo Alto, California and completed her medical degree at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. She completed her Urology Residency at the University of Southern California and Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan followed by fellowships in Neuro-urology, at Rancho Los Amigos Medical Center and Urologic Oncology at University of California, Irvine.
Dr. Trop, with over 20 years of clinical experience, was among the first 2% of women to be Board Certified in Urology.
She moved to the east coast when she was recruited by Mount Sinai School of Medicine to join the Urology Faculty.
Dr. Trop has been involved in national and international research studies helping to bring novel therapies to her patients. She has also been engaged in providing expert opinions in legal cases involving urologic concerns.
