Shakir has PhD in Horticultural Plant Pathology with over 25 years of international and Canadian experience of crop production, plant disease diagnosis and integrated pest management (IPM) which includes growing leafy greens vegetables, micro greens, strawberry, hemp and edible mushrooms in the field, growth chambers, greenhouse with LED lights, vertical stands, hydroponic and controlled environment settings in different capacities.
