Mark L. Meyer, MD, FACP, FACC, is a board-certified physician and one of the leading cardiologists in New York. He is the founder of Madison Avenue Cardiovascular in Midtown, Manhattan, serving patients throughout New York City. Dr. Meyer integrates different approaches to medicine to provide his patients expert, personalized care at every step of the health journey. As a top cardiologist, he diagnoses and treats chest pain, atrial fibrillation, valvular heart disease, hypertension, heart palpitations, heart attack, and other cardiovascular conditions. Dr. Meyer also offers a fee-based concierge service for internal medicine needs outside of cardiology.
Dr. Meyer graduated magna cum laude from Haverford College with a Bachelor of Science and high honors in cellular and molecular biology and was part of the Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society. He attended the Yale University School of Medicine, where he also completed a categorical residency in internal medicine, served for one year as an emergency department attending physician, and later served as a clinical instructor in the Department of Surgery.
During this time, Dr. Meyer obtained his law degree from Yale Law School, concentrating on medical ethics, scientific research law, and FDA law. He then completed a fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he obtained Level 3 Nuclear Cardiology training.
Dr. Meyer is board-certified in internal medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, the American College of Cardiology, and the New York Academy of Medicine. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Heart Association, and the New York State and County Medical Societies. Though never having practiced law, Dr. Meyer has also been admitted to the Bar of the Supreme Court of New York State.
Dr. Meyer has admitting privileges at Lenox Hill Hospital, New York-Presbyterian Hospital, and Mount Sinai Hospital. He is a clinical instructor of medicine at both the Weill Medical College of Cornell University and Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
