Rod has broad experience working with people of all ages from infants to the elderly using gentle non crack chiropractic. He graduated as a chiropractor and osteopath in 1984, became an instructor in Activator Technique in 2001 and is acknowledged in the Activator Method text book for his contribution to the development of Activator technique. Rod graduated with a Masters of Socialwork qualifying in 2011 and worked as a family worker for several years alongside his chiropractic practice and understands that physical pain can be more involved than simple structural problems. Rod's goal is to help people restore and maintain a healthy body that is supported by a healthy lifestyle. Rod has a particular interest in managing posture with awareness, motivation and simple exercises to change poor habits and create new habits. Working with older and aging people if of special interest as small improvements in function can lead to valuable improvement in wellbeing. Activator technique is well suited to working with older people and precipitating outcomes.
