About the Practice
New Beginnings Pediatrics founded by Dr. Miriam Schwan, is an innovative pediatrics practice located in Glendale, Arizona. Led by Aashima Bansal, MD, the team’s mission is to provide the best, personalized care and professional attention to help ensure all infants, children, and adolescents are happy and healthy. 
Dr. Bansal completed high school in New Delhi, India. She then completed medical school at SSR Medical college in Mauritius in 2006. After relocating to the United States, she completed her residency, and chief residency, at the John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, Illinois. Soon after, she completed one year of pediatric endocrine fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. As a mother of two children, Dr. Bansal uniquely understands the importance of having a thorough and compassionate pediatrician at the ready. Most recently, Dr. Bansal was awarded as a Top Pediatrician in Glendale, AZ for 2021 by Women in Medicine.
