Mindy Nichole Carlyon, FNP

Mindy Carlyon, FNP, is a board-certified family medicine nurse practitioner at the Wound Care Center at Parkland Health Center. Mindy provides wound care to patients of all ages, for chronic wounds, arterial and venous ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers and diabetic wounds, MRSA wounds, pressure ulcers, minor burns, traumatic injuries, non-healing post-surgical wounds, radiation damage, and skin tears and lacerations. Treatments include individualized wound assessment and treatment plans are offered, including infection control, vascular studies, skin grafting or skin substitutes, nutritional evaluation, blood work, wound debridement, hyperbaric oxygen therapy and placement of protective devices.
