First Command Financial Advisor - Beth Umstead

Elizabeth Umstead joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in January 2021. She is excited about the opportunity to help people make the smart financial decisions that are essential to long-term financial security.

Elizabeth has an Associate’s degree in Music from Bucks County Community College and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from San Diego State University. She holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in Florida.

Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, Elizabeth serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. She advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to manage financial risk. Elizabeth will work with you to establish specific, meaningful goals that are consistent with your values and then develop a personalized financial plan to guide your pursuit of those goals.

Active in her community, Elizabeth is a member of the Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce.

In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with family and traveling.
