Founding provider and oral and maxillofacial surgeon Sharon Russell, DDS, RN, brings a unique vision to the practice. Her goal is to provide compassionate, gentle, and effective surgical procedures in a relaxing and calming environment.
Dr. Russell obtained her doctorate degree, graduating with high honors, from the prestigious Howard University School of Dental Medicine in Washington, DC, She is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgery specialist with more than 20 years of experience who performs oral surgery in the spa-like office. Common surgical procedures include dental implants, sinus lift, and facial trauma procedures as part of emergency dentistry.
She regularly places dental implants and All-on-4® implants, and also prepares patients for implants with sinus lifts and other bone grafting procedures where necessary. The Maryland Oral Surgery Group uses the latest technology, including cone beam 3D imaging and digital X-rays, for diagnosis and surgical planning.
