First Command Financial Advisor - Mike Kucej

Mike Kucej joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in February 2011, following a 26-year career in the United States Air Force. During his career, he served as an aircraft maintenance officer and acquisition officer, with one tour as a maintenance group commander and two as a squadron commander. Mike served on several combat deployments in Southwest Asia and the Pacific theaters. He has experience on multiple fighter, bomber and reconnaissance support aircraft. He attained the rank of Colonel.

A graduate of the United States Air Force Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree, Troy State University with a Master of Science degree in Human Resources Management and the Air War College with a Master of Science degree in Strategic Studies, Mike holds Series 6, 63 and 65 securities licenses plus Utah life and health insurance licenses.

Having spent almost 27 years of his life caring for Airmen in the Air Force, Mike is naturally suited to assist families on their journey to financial success.

Mike is married to the former Karine Ingebretsen of Ogden, Utah, and they have three children, Mackenzie, Mace and Cy. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and coaching his kids as they participate in all sports activities.
