Bob Ponton joined First Command Financial Services in October 1991, following a 23-year career in the United States Navy. There, he attained the rank of Commander and served as a bombardier navigator in the A-6 Intruder aircraft.

A graduate of St. Bonaventure University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and Salve Regina University with a Master of Srts degree, Bob holds Series 6, 63 and 65 securities licenses plus state life and health insurance licenses in New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma and Virginia. He is a Certified Financial Planner & Trade certificant and a member of the Financial Planning Association.

Married with three children and one grandchild, Bob enjoys jogging, reading, music and yard work, and he volunteers as a lector at the NAS Oceana Chapel.
