First Command Financial Advisor - Mike Turley

Michael Turley joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in December 2004. In May 2014, he was promoted to District Advisor of the Northern California offices.

A graduate of San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications, Michael holds Series 6, 63, 65 and 26 securities licenses plus state life, health and long-term care insurance licenses. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association.

As District Advisor, Michael's duties include, hiring, training, coaching and leading a team of Financial Advisors in offices in Vacaville, Sacramento, Monterey, Lemoore and soon to be another location in the East Bay. Michael is a strong believer in building relationships upon trust and accountability, and he makes sure that those values are reflected through all of his Advisors as they ensure that each financial plan is as unique and comprehensive as the families they serve.

The Advisors in his district understand that purposeful investing requires both prudent investment selection and disciplined behavior. They can recommend carefully selected investment products that support client goals for retirement planning, education funding, asset management and more. And because risk management is an essential part of a financial plan, they frequently help clients develop a cost-effective insurance strategy to manage risks to their financial well-being. Michael's team lives by the mission of First Command, to coach those who serve in their pursuit of financial security. They pride themselves on creating holistic comprehensive financial plans, developing rich and lasting client relationships, and helping their client families get their finances squared away.

Michael is an active member of Newman Center Catholic Community in Berkeley, California, and he is involved in many local activities. When he isn't spending quality time with his beautiful wife and son Marek, Michael enjoys time with friends and family, fishing, water sports, film, traveling, craft beer tasting, San Diego Chargers football and San Diego Padres Baseball.
