First Command Financial Advisor - Ken Bottari

Kenneth Bottari joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in December 2013, following a 27-year career in the United States Air Force, where he attained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Kenneth understands the challenges and opportunities associated with life in the military and is committed to helping service members and their families get their financial lives squared away.

Kenneth has a Master’s degree in Aeronautical Science, Production and Operations from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from University of New Mexico. He holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in AL, AZ, CO, FL, ID, IL, NM, OH, TX, AA, AE and AP.

Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, Kenneth serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. He advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to manage financial risk. Kenneth will work with you to establish specific, meaningful goals that are consistent with your values and then develop a personalized financial plan to guide your pursuit of those goals.

Active in his community, Kenneth is a member of the Hispano Chamber of Commerce and NAIFA.

In his free time, Kenneth enjoys hiking and spending time with family.
