First Command Financial Advisor - Steve Cyr

Steve Cyr joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in October 1989, following eight years of service in the United States Army. There, he served as a trainer for Officer Basic Course as well as an engineer in troop units in the United States and Germany.

A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point with a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration on Economics, Steve holds Series 6, 63 and 65 securities licenses plus state life and health insurance licenses. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association.

Steve understands that purposeful investing requires both prudent investment selection and disciplined behavior, and he can recommend carefully selected investment products that support clients' goals for retirement planning, education funding, asset management and more. And because risk management is an essential part of a financial plan, Steve frequently helps clients develop a cost-effective insurance strategy to manage risks to their financial well-being. A long-time Financial Advisor with First Command, Steve was recently recognized by the company for the number of new clients he's been able to help throughout his career.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and crushing baseballs at local batting cages.
