First Command District Advisor - Ethan Hokanson

Ethan Hokanson joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in June 2015. As a military spouse, he understands the unique situations and circumstances that place pressure on military families and is committed to helping them discover the confidence and peace of mind that come from financial security.

Ethan has a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management from Maranatha Baptist University and a Master’s degree in Wealth Management from Texas A&M, School of Law. He holds Series 7, 66, and 24 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in Virginia, Maryland, DC, Texas, and Kansas.

Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, Ethan serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. He advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to manage financial risk. Ethan will work with you to establish specific, meaningful goals that are consistent with your values and then develop a personalized financial plan to guide your pursuit of those goals.

Active in his community, Ethan is Board Member of Ducks Unlimited, Potomac Valley Chapter.
