I enjoy helping patients by treating their hip and knee pain to restore as much of their function as possible. Many recent advances in hip and knee joint treatment give us a wide array of treatment options, which allows us to find a treatment that works best for each patient.

Although surgery is sometimes the best treatment, I often find that non-operative therapies or less invasive treatments work the best. Regardless of their condition and the treatments available, I strive to give my patients options and make sure that they understand they are partners in making their health care decisions.

Making these decisions is the result of honest conversations with both my patient and my team. I want to understand my patients’ concerns and goals. Then I work with my team at D-H. Our patients benefit from the collective wisdom and experience of everyone on the team, where everyone is always learning and improving.

I believe in providing kind and empathetic care. My goal is always to help my patients make well-informed treatment choices, based on the best current evidence we have and my expertise so that they can get back to being independent and living the lifestyle they want.
