Christopher M Whitney, PA-C

Christopher Whitney specializes in internal medicine. He is a department lead for advanced practice providers and an associate IT officer for the primary care institute. Christopher views the provider-patient relationship as a collaboration to achieve the goal of overall health and prevent disease. He sees every patient is an individual and believes that their care should reflect their specific goals and needs. He sees patients ages 17 and older and speaks English.

His clinical interests are diagnostic medicine, preventive care, cardiology, psychiatry, diabetes management, and PrEP. He can perform procedures like vaccinations, ear cleaning, abscess incision and draining (I&D), and wart and skin tag removal.

Christopher received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance studies from the Honors Tutorial College at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. He has a master’s degree in physician assistant science from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

He is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of PAs and the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants. He is also a clinical assistant professor at the Chatham University Physician Assistant Studies Program.
