Source Rock Capital Management is an investment advisory firm that provides wealth management and financial planning services for successful individuals and families, primarily in the oil and gas industry. The firm also provides retirement plan consulting services for businesses.

We help individuals and families plan for life events, be it education funding, retirement, risk management, final disposition of the estate, or any other specific goal. By going through the planning process, we are able to choose the appropriate financial products for our clients' specific needs, and we are able to formulate and execute our clients' plans.

Source Rock Capital Management uses Prospera Financial Services, Broker Dealer of the Year in 2009, 2010, 2012, and 2014 by Investment Advisor Magazine, as its Broker Dealer and Registered Investment Advisor. Through Prospera, we use First Clearing, LLC (a non-bank affiliate of Wells Fargo & Company) as the primary custodian of client funds. This provides clients security in that their assets are held separately from firm operations, and it provides clients all the benefits of a large firm, but with small firm personal care.

As an independent business, there are no proprietary products, clients can have the assurance that their portfolio is constructed for them and their best interest, not a broker’s commission.
