Dr. Carter finished his Fellowship in Medical Oncology and Hematology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Medical School with the University of Mississippi after receiving a Bachelor’s of Science in Biological Engineering from Mississippi State University. Throughout his academic and medical training, Dr. Carter has achieved numerous scholarships, honors and awards and is Board Certified in Medical Oncology, and he is Board Certified in Internal Medicine (achieving top 10% designation).
Born and raised in Jackson, MS, Dr. Carter currently resides in Jackson County with his wife and daughter.
